I'm working on an inferior laptop, so if this does not show up well in full view, please let me know. The closest flowers are not supposed to be in focus, but the rest of the pic should be clean with the middle grass being most in focus. All comments and critiques encouraged.

Yes, I really get to hike around in areas like this - this day I borrowed a dog, and we had a blast together and hiked all the way up to the right of the pic along a river bed. Elevation here is about 2500'.

Wow, great depth of field in this peice. And I love the green against the sky. This is a really beautiful landscape.

This isn't by chance on the big island? I if so I think I know whereabouts it is...and I must say it's my fav part. The touristy resorts are just kinda bleh. I much prefer natural Hawaii.

Personally I think this is your best.

Wow, thank you. I'm honoured! Yes, it's the Big Island...send me a note on where you think it is exactly, and I will tell you honestly if you are correct. Definitely NOT touristy, and basically not "allowed" to roam in these areas. I especially appreciate that you feel this is my best shot because I had just an hour prior to this "fired" a client of mine, and he did not take it well at all...very unprofessional, and I was pretty shaken up at his reaction, so I decided to go for a long walk with a friend's dog, and this was the first picture I took on that healing journey. By the end, I had completely forgotten the dude with the attitude. :-) Life is so good when we do what we know we need to do, yeah? So you been here? Lived here?
